Since its endorsement by the CEB and its launch in 2012, UN-SWAP has served as a dynamic inter-agency mechanism, ensuring the UN system's accountability in accelerating efforts towards GEWE.

As of 2023, 74 UN entities actively engage in annual reporting and evaluating entity-wide performance against 17 indicators.

Co-organized by UNFPA and UN Women, the 2024 UN-SWAP Annual Conference will take place in New York, 19-21 November 2024.

The conference will launch the upgraded UN-SWAP 3.0, a key milestone in our ongoing commitment to gender equality across the UN system.
