Thirty years after the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, progress on gender equality remains urgent but increasingly at risk, with global financing declining since 2020. This funding gap threatens to stall momentum toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this session, we will explore how inter-agency pooled funding mechanisms consolidate resources to support effective solutions while ensuring sustained, coordinated financing for gender equality and the rights and empowerment of women and girls
