The Toolkit aims to help both organizations and individual practitioners and experts to address intersectionality in policies and programmes.

By focusing on the intersection of gender, age, and disability, this brief seeks to raise awareness regarding the situation of older women with disabilities and provides a set of recommendations for actions that stakeholders might consider and implement.

the Inter-Agency Standing Committee published Guidelines on the ‘Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action’ which set out essential actions that humanitarian actors must take in order to effectively identify and respond to the needs and rights of persons with disabilities.

The toolkit is developed based on the information gathered from the person with disability, organization for person with disability, CSO and government in Timor-Leste, who work in prevention of violence against women and children. The content in the toolkit is looking at the definition of person with disability, human right, gender, violence and action plan to help training provider conducting the training for service provider institutions.

This guideline developed by UN Women, provides a step-by-step guidance note to produce an in-depth picture of the situation, needs and capacities of women, men, boys and girls of diverse backgrounds to inform recommendations and actions that leave no one behind.

This brief discusses the global context for intersectionality in conflict or crisis and transition settings, and considers the specific barriers faced in relation to the women, peace and security and the rule of law agendas.

The UNPRPD integrates institutional and operational mandates to facilitate inter-agency collaboration and joint programming on disability inclusive development. It works to overcome the multiple barriers that continue to prevent persons with disabilities from the equal and effective enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms. 1. Social Integration & Inclusion – advancing participation, dignity, and rights through gender-responsive ageing policies.
2. Poverty Eradication & Decent Work – promoting fair, inclusive, and gender-responsive economies that ensure income security and value care across the life course.

The session will spotlight cross-regional innovations and multi-stakeholder partnerships that empower older women and promote equality across generations.
