2023 UN-SWAP Annual Conference

Since its endorsement by the CEB and its launch in 2012, UN-SWAP has served as a dynamic inter-agency mechanism, ensuring the UN system's accountability in accelerating efforts towards GEWE.

As of 2022, 73 UN entities actively engage in annual reporting and evaluating entity-wide performance against 17 indicators.

The 2023 UN-SWAP conference marks the first in-person conference in a post-pandemic world. Its significance is further amplified in conjunction with a system-wide acceleration plan and the upcoming upgrade from UN-SWAP 2.0 to 3.0.

The conference is co-organized by UNFPA and UN Women. All three days will take place at the UNFPA premises (5th floor, 605 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10158). The conference will be broadcasted via zoom.
